Question: What is the Colorado State Tree?
Answer: The Blue Spuce.
In 1862, surgeon and botanist Charles Parry discovered the Colorado Blue Spruce while exploring the Rocky Mountains. School children of the state voted to pronounce the Blue Spruce as the state tree on Arbor Day in 1892 and it was officially adopted by the Colorado General Assembly on March 7, 1939.
