Winter Weather Blankets the State

Another snow system is set to arrive Tuesday, bringing some of the season’s coldest temperatures. Highs are forecast to stay in the 20s, with frigid conditions lingering throughout the week.

Colorado Springs Green Beret Matthew Livelsberger allegedly intended the New Year’s Day Tesla Cybertruck explosion outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas to serve as a “wake-up call” for the country.

Notes recovered from his phone reportedly contain grievances expressed in several letters. The 37-year-old criticized America’s leadership as “weak” and described the nation as “terminally ill and headed toward collapse.”

Investigators are also reviewing an email resembling a manifesto, allegedly sent by Livelsberger, which was shared on the military-themed Shawn Ryan Show podcast last Friday.

While authorities have ruled out terrorism, they have linked the attack to Livelsberger’s struggles with mental health, including PTSD stemming from extensive combat service.

“Teen Rex” Fossil Unveils New Insights

The juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex fossil, nicknamed “Teen Rex,” was discovered by three boys in North Dakota in 2023 and is now being studied at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

Measuring 25 feet long and weighing an estimated 3,500 pounds when alive, this rare find is offering new insights into the growth and physiology of the species.

In December 2024, paleontologists uncovered the Teen Rex’s lower jaw, significant portions of its skull with teeth, and a fossilized palm frond from the late Cretaceous Period.
