Christian Medical Providers Sue Colorado

The Christian Medical & Dental Associations and a Cañon City clinic filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday challenging Colorado’s anti-discrimination law.

The suit says recent state court rulings force providers who prescribe hormones for other conditions to also provide sex-change drugs, surgeries, and referrals.

Plaintiffs include Button Family Practice, whose owner says he will not prescribe hormones for gender transition even though he prescribes them for other reasons.

Attorneys filed Christian Medical & Dental Associations v. Sullivan in Colorado’s federal district court, naming Attorney General Phil Weiser and civil rights officials as defendants.

United Cancels Memorial DIA Flyover

United Airlines has canceled a 9/11 commemoration flyover planned for today at Denver International Airport (DIA), citing concerns in the community.

The display would have sent a Boeing 777 over the city followed by four fighter jets at 9:03 a.m., the moment Flight 175 struck the South Tower.

The Denver Office of Emergency Management had already posted public notices about the noisy display, and officials worried residents would mistake it for a real emergency.

United will instead hold lower-key remembrances, including a moment of silence with airline and airport employees at Denver International at 9:03 a.m.

Colorado Scientists Discover T-Rex Trackway

Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS) researchers and a British colleague have described the first known trackway left by an adult Tyrannosaurus rex.

The prints, found in 2025 on Forest Service land near Marmarth, North Dakota, record two left and two right steps taken about 66.5 million years ago.

Amateur fossil hunter and longtime DMNS volunteer Kent Hups spotted the first odd-looking rock, then turned up three more forming a continuous line.

Three of the footprints are expected to be recovered by helicopter this fall and taken to the Denver museum, which plans to share updates with guests this winter.
