Article Icon 1Three TdA Members Sentenced

Three Venezuelan men tied to the Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang were each sentenced to 20 years in federal prison Monday for kidnapping and torturing a man in Denver in October 2024.

Prosecutors said the men targeted a man renting a room in their home after learning he and his father had been Venezuelan police officers. They filmed the torture and demanded $30,000.

The man later escaped to police after officers did a welfare check at the home.

Darwin Veliz-Gonzalez, Jefferson Balza-Delfin, and Yender Enrique Campos-Malave pleaded guilty to attempted kidnapping. A fourth defendant is set to be sentenced Dec. 10.

Article Icon 1Denver Woman Sues Flock

A Denver woman is suing Flock Safety, two Colorado towns, and police after a sergeant used Flock data to falsely accuse her of stealing a $25 package.

Chrisanna Elser’s federal class-action complaint argues officers could search Flock’s database without a warrant, probable cause, or any reason at all.

In September 2025, a Columbine Valley sergeant issued her a summons after Bow Mar cameras placed her truck in town. She had only driven through on her way to her tailor.

Elser spent weeks compiling video and GPS evidence from her Rivian before the charge was dropped. The town later said the officer would be disciplined.

Article Icon 1Delivery Drones Coming to Denver

Walmart and Wing will bring drone delivery to the Denver and Seattle metro areas in 2027 as part of a push toward more than 270 drone-serving stores nationwide.

Wing’s lightweight drones carry up to 5 pounds at up to 60 mph. Eligible customers will see the drone option automatically in the Walmart app or website.

Local governments have little say, since the Federal Aviation Administration regulates where drones fly. Parker and Castle Rock have paused new drone delivery hubs.

Northglenn is drafting rules for drone hubs, including possible buffer zones to keep them away from homes and sensitive sites like police or wastewater facilities.

Costa Rica’s Blue Zone Breakfast

Most Americans think eating sweets for breakfast is unhealthy…

But according to Stanford researchers, there’s one delicious “dessert” food that Costa Ricans in the famous “blue zone” there eat each morning that:

✅ Keeps them lean even into their 70s, 80s, and 90s
✅ Slows blood sugar spikes and maintains healthy insulin sensitivity
✅ Keeps their blood pressure at normal, healthy levels
✅ Keeps their hearts and arteries strong and clean well into old age, with a striking lack of heart disease in their population
✅ Even helps them have seven times more centenarians than Japanese people

So what’s the No. 1 dessert food that helps Costa Ricans live healthy, lean, and energetic past 100? (See Report)

P.S. Here’s the surprising part. While Costa Ricans are living longer with this morning ritual, Americans trying it are losing seven pounds in a couple of weeks as a side effect.
