Article Icon 1ICE Protests Held Across Colorado

Hundreds gathered outside the Colorado Capitol on Tuesday to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), joining a wave of anti-ICE protests erupting in Los Angeles and across the country.

Denver police monitored the protest, which began around 5:30 p.m. By 6:15 p.m., protesters marched down the middle of Lincoln Street, temporarily blocking all lanes of traffic.

Smaller protests took place Monday outside the ICE detention facility in Aurora and in downtown Colorado Springs.

Another large protest is planned at Veterans Memorial Park in Denver this Saturday as part of a nationwide “No Kings” day of action marking President Trump’s birthday and a military parade in Washington, D.C.

Colorado Senate Minority Leader Paul Lundeen, R-Monument, resigned Monday to take a job in the private sector.

Lundeen served in the Senate for seven sessions and previously held seats in the House and on the State Board of Education. He played key roles in efforts to rewrite the state’s education funding formula, cut the state income tax rate, and sponsor legislation to combat human trafficking.

His new role will be CEO and president of the American Excellence Foundation, a D.C.-based investment nonprofit that supports conservative causes.

The Senate Republican caucus will convene Thursday to select a new leader.

Article Icon 1Fentanyl Threat Shuts Down Festival

Organizers of Apogaea, a regional Burning Man event in Valdez, shut down and evacuated the festival on Friday due to reports of fentanyl-laced substances.

Two attendees told staff on Thursday they’d been given a substance that tested positive for fentanyl. Friday morning, a festivalgoer found an undissolved gelcap in their water bottle, which also tested positive.

Erring on the side of caution, organizers canceled the event and evacuated more than 1,500 people. They believe at least one incident was a “nonconsensual drug exchange,” possibly targeting volunteers.

While no one was reportedly dosed or harmed, local officials plan to conduct a review to determine whether additional security measures are needed for future events.

The Treasury Fired a Warning Shot

If you’re retired or plan to retire, circle August 1st on your calendar with a fat red marker.

This is when the trouble begins. As soon as August 1st, 2025, we may watch the destruction of retired America:

  • Delayed Social Security checks
  • Pension checks frozen or reduced
  • Diversified retirement accounts dropping 50%

This is serious, and you WILL be affected, one way or another.

This isn’t about the president.

This is about economic sabotage.

That’s why thousands of Americans like you are fighting for everything they worked for. But they’re not doing it alone. Many of them are applying for an IRS-sanctioned provision to help protect and preserve their retirement from a fiscal crisis like this.

This provision was greenlit decades ago, used as a “what if” protection plan by Americans with $50-100k or more in savings. And it served them well, through the Financial Crises of 2000, 2008, and 2020. But it’s not a matter of “what if” anymore—it’s a matter of WHEN. And right now, you can get a no-cost guide that walks you through exactly how this helps protect your savings. If you’re looking for a sign, then this is it. Don’t wait. Click below.
