Article Icon 1Supreme Court Hears Conversion Therapy Case

The Supreme Court will hear arguments today in a case challenging Colorado’s ban on conversion therapy, which is the practice of trying to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity through counseling.

The appeal was filed by conservative legal group Alliance Defending Freedom on behalf of Kaley Chiles, a Christian therapist in Colorado Springs.

ADF argues the law censors counselors’ free speech, violating the First Amendment. A divided federal appeals court upheld the ban, ruling it regulates conduct, not speech.

More than 20 states have similar laws, meaning the Court’s ruling will likely have nationwide implications. A decision is expected in mid-2026.

A district court judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit brought against the Town of Palmer Lake over its handling of a proposed Buc-ee’s development.

Filed by Integrity Matters and other groups in January, the lawsuit challenged the town’s ability to annex land for the travel center, alleging multiple violations of state law.

Amy Hutson, town trustee and mayor pro tem, resigned on Friday, citing stress from the Buc-ee’s controversy and the litigation. Former Mayor Glant Havenar resigned in June for similar reasons.

An attorney for Integrity Matters says the group is planning to resubmit the suit. The dismissal came one day after the town voted to let voters approve or deny the annexation in a special election.

Article Icon 1New Tech to Curb Scooter Clutter

Denver South is testing a new technology designed to ensure that rentable e-scooters and e-bikes are parked in the right place.

Sparkpark, a Norwegian company, uses Bluetooth antennas to pinpoint the scooters’ locations with centimeter-level precision and designate virtual docking stations.

Ten stations will be deployed in Greenwood Village and Centennial during the pilot program, which runs through July 2026. Riders who use the designated stations can earn incentives like ride credits, gift cards, or merchandise.

This is Sparkpark’s first pilot in North America. It comes amid growing complaints from metro residents about improperly parked scooters clogging sidewalks.

Unknown number calling? It’s not random…

Here’s the disturbing truth: scammers don’t pick phone numbers at random. They buy your personal data from data brokers—your phone number, your email, even details about your lifestyle. That’s how they know exactly who to target.

Once your data is out there, it’s not just spam calls. It’s phishing, impersonation, and even identity theft.

That’s why we recommend Incogni:

  • They delete your personal info from everywhere on the web

  • They monitor and follow up automatically

  • They keep erasing your data as new risks appear.

You can’t stop scammers from existing. But you can make sure they don’t have your information to work with.
