Question: Where did Robert Redford, founder of the Sundance Film Festival, work while attending the University of Colorado (CU) Boulder?

Answer: During his time as a CU student in the 1950s, Redford worked as a janitor at The Sink, an iconic burger bar that’s operated in Boulder since 1923 and is considered the city’s oldest restaurant. According to differing accounts, Redford either dropped out or was expelled from CU during his sophomore year, something he attributed to excessive drinking.
