Question: In what year was Colorado’s “Frozen Dead Guy” frozen?
Answer: Bredo Morstøl died in Norway in 1989. His family immediately put him on ice for cryopreservation, and he was later transported to the United States by his grandson, Trygve Bauge, who believed his grandfather should have a shot at immortality. He was kept at a California cryonics facility until 1993, when Trygve shipped him to Nederland, Colorado.
