Article Icon 1Colorado Football Takes Center Stage 

Colorado sports fans can look forward to an action-packed Saturday, Dec. 28, with football games featuring the Denver Broncos, Colorado Buffaloes, and Colorado State Rams.

The Denver Broncos will face the Cincinnati Bengals at 2:30 p.m., with significant postseason implications.

Following that, the University of Colorado Buffaloes, led by Heisman winner Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders, will take on BYU in the Valero Alamo Bowl at 5:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, Meanwhile, Colorado State University will compete against Miami (Ohio) in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl at 2:30 p.m. in Tucson. Led by coach Jay Norvell, the Rams celebrate their first bowl game since 2017 after a successful 8-4 season.

Article Icon 1Ring in 2025 with Fireworks and Festivities 

Downtown Denver will welcome 2025 with a night of free celebrations, including two firework shows at 9 p.m. and midnight on Dec. 31.

The displays, launched from rooftops, are best viewed along the 16th Street Mall and will each last about eight minutes.

Additional events include a Mile High Drone Show at 5:30 p.m. and a ball-drop-style countdown at Civic Center Park.

Towns such as Colorado Springs, Grand Lake, Snowmass, and Breckenridge are also hosting their own fireworks displays, offering celebratory options across the state.
