Article Icon 1Nebraska Sues Colorado for Water Rights

Nebraska has filed a lawsuit against Colorado over the amount of water it draws from the South Platte River, officials announced Wednesday.

Filed in the U.S. Supreme Court, the lawsuit alleges Colorado violated the 1923 South Platte River Compact, shortchanging Nebraska as much as 1.3 million acre-feet of water over several years.

The lawsuit also seeks to clear the way for the Perkins County Canal, a contentious project that would involve Nebraska seeking to seize Colorado land through eminent domain to divert the South Platte’s water across state lines.

Attorney General Phil Weiser denied any violations of the compact, calling both the canal project and the lawsuit “wasteful.”

Article Icon 1Christian Bookstore Challenges Kelly Loving Act

A family-owned bookstore in Colorado Springs is suing Colorado over a new state law requiring business owners to use customers’ preferred pronouns.

Filed by Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) on behalf of Born Again Used Books, the federal lawsuit is the latest challenge to the Kelly Loving Act, an expansion of anti-discrimination policies signed into law in May.

According to ADF, the law forces Born Again to use biologically inaccurate language and “profess an ideological view it opposes,” violating its religious beliefs and First Amendment rights.

A similar lawsuit, filed by Colorado parent groups in May, alleges the law violates free speech and parental rights.

University of Colorado (CU) Boulder students have designed a three-wheeled, one-armed robot that could let users simulate lunar exploration through virtual reality (VR).

The robot, nicknamed Armstrong, is part of a NASA-backed study into how VR can help train people to operate robots on the surface of the moon.

Researchers found that those who practiced using Armstrong in a “digital twin”—a hyperrealistic virtual replica of the CU office—had a significant advantage, completing lunar-style tasks 28% faster with less stress.

The team’s next step is simulating the surface of the moon in VR, with the long-term goal of building a robot-powered lunar observatory.

Meet the Genius Who Invented Plastic That Dissolves in Water

The world produces 450 million metric tons of plastic waste each year.

Microplastics are seeping into our oceans and food. They even show up in our bodies. So you can imagine how revolutionary a new kind of plastic that completely dissolves in water would be.

Thatʼs exactly what Timeplast has created. The company patented a water-soluble, time-programmable plastic that vanishes without harming the environment—and they’re taking investors for a limited time.

Here’s why you don’t want to miss this opportunity:

  • Revolutionary plastic that vanishes completely—no microplastics, no landfill waste.

  • 6,000% sales growth in the company’s first month on the market.

  • $1.3 trillion market opportunity across packaging, 3D printing, and more.

Major players are already partnering with Timeplast for their patented technology.
