Question: How did the town of Frisco get its name?

Answer: Frisco was named after the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway, also known as the Frisco Line, in the hopes of drawing the railroad to the town. Though the Frisco Line never came to Frisco, Colorado, it eventually ended up in Frisco, Texas, which also took its name from the railway.
