Article Icon 1DOJ Sues Over Sanctuary Policies

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is suing the state of Colorado and the city of Denver to overturn “sanctuary laws” that limit cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.

Filed Friday in federal court, the lawsuit argues that state and city policies—such as one prohibiting police from honoring immigration detainers—interfere with federal immigration efforts, violating the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause.

The DOJ also cites Tren de Aragua, alleging the migrant gang’s foothold in the U.S. is partly the result of policies passed by the state.

The suit comes just as the House passed Senate Bill 276, a measure that would further limit cooperation with immigration officials.

Article Icon 1Hundreds Gather for May Day Protests

Hundreds of protesters gathered at Colorado’s Capitol on Thursday to demand better wages and safer working conditions, joining similar protests worldwide.

The rallies coincided with May Day, or International Workers’ Day, and focused on opposition to the Trump administration’s immigration crackdowns and cuts to federal programs.

In Denver, workers from several industries gathered on the lawn of the Capitol before marching downtown. Many returned for a pro-immigration rally later that afternoon.

The same day, about 320 union workers at Lockheed Martin in Littleton walked off the job after rejecting a contract offer, citing unfair pay. Strikers plan to picket until an agreement is reached.

Article Icon 1Spring Storm to Start Week

After a calm weekend, a powerful spring storm is moving into Colorado, bringing widespread rain to the plains and snow to the high country.

Showers are expected to develop today, with highs in the 50s and 60s across lower elevations. Mountain areas above 9,000 feet could see over six inches of snow, with travel impacts likely.

Tuesday looks to bring heavier precipitation. Along the Front Range and I-25 corridor, 1 to 2 inches of rain may cause localized flooding, while snow will impact mountain travel through Wednesday.

Drier, warmer conditions will begin to return midweek, setting the stage for another mild spring weekend.

Japanese Water Soluble Plastic Has American Competition

Japan’s RIKEN institute recently unveiled a plastic that dissolves in seawater within hours—a breakthrough in the fight against pollution. But Florida-based Timeplast may have quietly surpassed it.

With seven patents and a proprietary process called “molecular disintegration,” Timeplast’s plastics dissolve not just in seawater, but also in freshwater, rain, humidity, and soil. Unlike traditional solutions, these materials leave no microplastics behind and maintain the strength of conventional plastics. Already used in 3D-printing and flexible composites, Timeplast’s lineup is versatile and scalable.

They’re on a mission to revolutionize multiple industries:

  • Packaging

  • 3D Printing

  • Healthcare

  • Agriculture

  • Consumer Goods

  • Marine

  • Construction

  • Retail & Events

As you can see, the market potential is enormous ($1.3T in total). That’s just one reason why they’ve already attracted over 6,000 investors.

This is your opportunity to join Timeplast as they lead a plastic revolution with global implications. Become a Timeplast shareholder now.
